Blake led the team in hitting, home runs, and RBI in 2011, with a .315 average, seven home runs, and 38 RBI. He fielded .993, and received an NAIA West Gold Glove. He made the NAIA West all-region team, and was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
Blake started in 51 games in center field in 2010. He batted .355, hit seven home runs (tied with Nic Lendvoy for best on the team) and 35 RBI. He fielded 1.000, and received a national Rawlings-NAIA Gold Glove.
During the Summer of 2010, he batted .292 for the Medicine Hat Mavericks of the Western Major Baseball League.
Blake is from Calgary. He attended Central Washington in 2009, but was red-shirted. He was "discovered" by the Thunderbird coaches at the World Baseball Challenge, where he was playing for the Prince George Axemen.
